Awesome God
By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation, You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the far-off seas (Ps.65.5).
One of the sovereignty of God is the the power to answer prayers in ways that beats your imagination. He operates in awesomeness that most times is beyond the comprehension of people. He promised to do terrible things in righteousness. That is His familiar terrain. It is the same reason He could place a nobody among the nobles. Never underestimate the power of God when you’re in relationship with Him. Doing that will short change you in every way possible. Your expectations should always exceed your requests. That is the best way to prepare for the shocker He might pull on you.
It was a battle between the devil and the deep blue sea for the children of Israel and God did the unthinkable, He parted the sea. In a battle contest between Israel and another nation, He granted the approval for the sun to hang in there for some minutes. He once gave a woman called barren triplets, to show her that He controls things. The sovereignty of God is such a huge thing that it could change your story overnight. He does terrible things in righteousness.
Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert (Isa.43.19).
My admonition is that you keep your faith in Him very strong because God is able to surpass your requests or expectations. He is the delight of every folk when it comes to prayers for request. He’s got the power to do much more than you could ever ask or imagine according to His ultimate power. Amen.
