Beware of Deception
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition (2Thess.2.3).
The above scripture is an evidence of the complexity of the nature of man. It is possible to be deceived. It is also possible to deceive yourself. To be deceived is to be lied to or fed with wrong information so you can be taken advantage of. This pattern will be common in the last days.
Also, they will seek to deceive you using every possible means. Beware of people who teach incomplete truth. Beware of people who attempt to give you solution at all cost. Beware of those who tell you that you must make it at all cost. Beware of people who seek to gain advantage of you getting your loyalty 100% when you are not loyal to Christ.
Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God (Col.2.18-19).
How do you guide against deception. Take heed to the word of God. Read it. Pray it and meditate on it. Submit to the divine process for your making and manifestation. Let the Holy spirit guide you daily into your inheritance. May the Lord keep your heart from deception.
