DIVINE HEALING
Exod.15.26 – and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”
Sickness and diseases have become endemic to the human race. They wear out the body that was originally meant to house our spirit and sometimes cut short the life span of an individual. But God has a perfect plan to heal every disease.
He made provisions in His word to have our mind renewed by the Word. That way, we believe every word of promise about His healing power. One of the reasons Christ was beaten before he was hunged on the Cross was to make provisions for our healing.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
God wants us to build our spirit to be strong such that in sickness, it can bear us up even though the body is weak. As a wise man once said, “The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, But who can bear a broken spirit?” (Prov. 18:14).
But there is usually a problem, many people do not develop their spirit to be strong enough to carry them through hard times or sickness. Just like a battle, you don’t prepare for battle when it has already started. Same goes for healing, you must learn to build your spirit by the Word of God such that healing becomes your bread.
