Does God really Care?
Rev.2.2 – I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars.
The nature of the omniscience of God has lost Its grip on many believers because of their experiences. They are dedicated, faithful and committed to service but they are not finding things easy. This has led to doubts about the faithfulness of God. “Does He know all I am going through?” They ask. Yes, God knows.
He told the angel of the church in Ephesus, “I know your works…” God knows your works. He knows your strength. He knows your labour. He is aware of your frame and limitations. He knows the trouble you are going through. He is not ignorant of all your struggles. The implication of thinking He doesn’t know can be devastating. To assume that God is unaware is to judge him unfaithful.
“You have said terrible things about me,” says the LORD. “But you say, ‘What do you mean? What have we said against you?’ “You have said, ‘What’s the use of serving God? What have we gained by obeying his commands or by trying to show the LORD of Heaven’s Armies that we are sorry for our sins? ( Mal. 3:13-14).
Do not throw away your confidence because God will need it when He is acting on your case. Many saints have had similar experiences and God didn’t fail any of them. He won’t fail you either. Keep serving in your appointed place. He makes all things beautiful in His (not your time). Your labour shall not be in vain. Amen.
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry (Heb. 10:37). While waiting, keep serving.
