Keep Praying

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving (Col.4.2).

When it comes to receiving answers from God, many people easily give up in the place of prayers. When you have prayers that are yet to be answered what do you do? Just keep praying because it is in that posture you will get answers. Jesus said men should always pray and not to give up. When you feel your prayers are not answered, what to do is to pray yet the more. Keep praying until the answers come. Avoid getting into the trap of abandoning prayers or complaining because that is a dangerous place to be as a believer.

As you pray, you also becomes vigilant in it by giving thanks to God. Many times we are consumed by our needs and desires, and forgets that appreciation and giving thanks are very important to relationship management. Paul encouraged us to give thanks always for that is the will of God for us in Christ Jesus. It is helpful not to make request from God every time but to thank Him for all the past great things He has done as well. Most times, as you give thanks your new prayer requests are answered by God.

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (1Thess.5.18).

When your prayers are seemingly not getting response, it is time to give thanks. A thoughtful heart is a thankful heart. Giving thanks is a sign of gratitude which is a source of encouragement to the heart as well. A heart of gratitude cannot be stranded in destiny. Shalom!
