Obedience

If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land (Isa.1.19).

The new testament is built on instructions and obedience is not negotiable. If you believe, you will obey. This is because following Jesus is a daily task that leads to growth, maturity and ultimately the father. However, God wants the obedience that is not coarse. He wants obedience that is from the heart, not forced. The willingness is a honor to the Father and we are blessed for it.

When we choose to obey, we are inclined to hearing more but disobedience leads to dullness in hearing. While obedience will mean enjoying the benefits such as eating the fruits of the land,, disobedience will mean walking in darkness. The believers’ walk is a love walk that requires relying on the Holy Spirit for grace to act according to instructions. Anything outside that will amount to rebellion. Trust and obey.

If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them (John.13.17).

Of what use is the knowledge that is not put to use? Happy is he who gladly heeds to the instructions given for in yielding, he will find the blessings from the God. Let yielding be your heart desires. Keep your heart open to doing the will of the father. His instructions are not grievous. Peace to you.
