Open Cheque

“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you (Luke.11.9).

From generations past, there hasn’t lived anyone who has exhausted the promises of God for his life. They all died still leaving behind a vast resources of divine promises and possibilities. Everyone has an open cheque to make requests according to the will of God.

The subject of prayer requires an importunity such that is liken to the request a friend would make without hesitation, irrespective of time, convenience or fear of rejection. There is always an open door with God for us to make our wishes known. We operate in the realm where needs, wants and desires are permitted to be expressed through prayers.

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory… (Phil.4.19).

…And the desire of the righteous will be granted (Prov.10.24).

“What do you want Me to do for you?” (Matt.20.32).

The emphasis of Jesus Christ is on the relationship that allows for free expression, where we can make our wants and wishes known to the Father. He is ever willing and ready to answer us. Ask. Seek. Knock. The possibilities are endless.
