Receiving Help
For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, “Fear not, I will help you.’ (Isa.41.13)
We all need help in life. It may be at different times for different reasons but there is no one that will claim not to need help. However, we are assured of the ultimate helper whenever the need arises. “Fear not, I will help you.” That is the promise of God. We have a helper who needs no help to get us help.
Help has been a tool to bargain for loyalty. It sometimes means more than the help, to commanding a greater commitment from the person receiving help. We have a promise that cannot fail in Him who is all sufficient to carry out His help. The beauty of this is that, God commands all the resources when they’re needed.
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble (Ps.46.1).
Ours is to ask for help when in need. He is always present to offer help at no extra cost but by faith only. When you are stranded, remember there is help for you in God.
May your heart be comforted that you are not alone. May favour locate you for divine assistance. Receive help in Jesus name.
