But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one (2 Thess.3.3).
The threat of evil is real. Sometimes, it can so besiege your soul that you may not know what to do. Each time you have to confront evil system or wicked people, bear in mind the potency of God’s power to establish and guard you from attacks of the evil one. It was David who said, though I walk through the valley of shadow of death, I will fear no evil because your rod and staff provide comfort for me. You may not wish evil away but you can triumph over it consistently.
The sense of insecurity has led many believers into the wrong places while some have even lost their faith. The believer trusts in the Lord and like mountain sorround
Jerusalem, so the Lord protect His people. You have nothing to fear if you keep your trust in Him. He will deliver you from trouble. Amen.
And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen (Matt.6.13).
Jesus instructed that we pray not to be led into temptation and be delivered from the evil one. You don’t grow beyond these prayers. Remember to keep praying them because the devil is like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour. May the Lord keep and preserve you in Jesus name. Amen.
