Sowing it Forward
Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets (Matt.7.12).
Principles run the world and some principles that will never change, irrespective of the changes the world witness. Such is the above scripture. It states that every action is a seed to birth a reaction commensurate to it in due season.
Our actions should reflect what we expect people to do to us. This is hardly the case when we relate. Injustice is perpetrated due to selfishness, which is a byproduct of disregard for the principle of fairness. Fairness must be a guide in all you do. No action goes unnoticed by nature. Things gets to come around with time. Beware of principles obtained from books like Mafia Manager, 48 laws of power, and others like them. They are dangerous for healthy social relationships.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins (1John.4.10).
Jesus emphasized that we must love others as we love ourselves. There are no two ways to it because love can never go wrong. It will always come back as positives. In sowing kindness, you will reap kindness. When you show mercy, someone will be merciful to you. Let go of offenses from others, yours will be forgiven as well. Nothing just happens without a preceding action. It is better to be deliberate and intentional about life.
Choose your words and actions on purpose as you relate with others. Be intentional about the things you do as to reap positive fruits in future. Nothing goes unnoticed. There is a perfect judge that ensures a robust reward does not elude anyone. Keep at it.
