The Assignment

And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes (Luke.12.47).

The assignment is the primary reason you are here on earth. Knowing it should help in gearing you towards fulfilling it. God expects some form of preparation or the other.

Far too many believers are gallanvanting about simply because they can afford daily bread forgetting that we need more than that to give account of our stewardship. Heaven’s isn’t joking about it. Every trace of divine will and investments in a life will be accounted for in the day of reckoning.

His lord said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ (Matt.25.23).

We are often concerned about being successful, which is very valid but there is more to than being successful. A man once said, his fear was not that he will not make it in life. He is more concerned that he may be successful doing the wrong thing.

Do you know exactly what your assignment is? If you do, go about it diligently. If you don’t know, there is still time to genuinely ask God.
