Trusting the Process

And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,
and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how (Mark.4.27).

The lifecycle of a plant from planting to harvest requires no more efforts from the farmer. It is a process that is seamless without interruption or interference night and day. This simple process must be embraced when it comes to walking with God in faith. He’s got your back. Worry less.

When it comes to ministering to the saints, doing the work of God, and labouring in the vineyard, we are only sowing seeds. Never be discouraged because you can’t immediately see the results. God is taking proper care of the seeds. Paul testified to that, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow”.

The beauty of the word of God is the inherent capacity it carries as a seed to germinate, sprout and bear fruits irrespective of how long it has stayed in the soil. Your faithfulness is in spreading the word at all times. Keep at it. Every word sown will take root in the right season.

He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap (Eccl.11.4).

Sow the word at all times. Never allow discouragement stops you. Keep at it.
