Coming out Stronger
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen! (2Tim.4.18)
The life of the righteous is not devoid of troubles or hard times, they only have assurances that they will come out stronger. The Lord knows how to preserve His own from evil for the purpose for which they were called. Hard times and trials come from different sources and for different reasons but their testimony is that God is faithful. They may not wish for the path with less trouble but they are well equipped to go through any storm and emerge stronger. They are like gold that is refined, the value increases after every fire it passes through.
Should you wish for a life with less stress and demand? That may be possible but that is not guaranteed. What is certain is that, no matter the circumstances of life around you, you will surmount them all and emerge stronger. Nothing defeats the righteous because His heavenly Father watches over him to uphold and establish him.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all
(Ps.34.19).
The righteous is a soldier and soldiers don’t wish for an adventure free life. They are equipped to combat situations and to scale through. Rather than ask for a life devoid of challenges, why not build your trust in the Lord, knowing that He will neither leave nor forsake you?
Are you getting wearied? Is life tiring you out? How about resting in the loving arms of Jehovah because He is faithful and will deliver you? How about telling Him your problems and watch Him do what he does best?
The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and He also reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment. May the peace of God guard your heart in Jesus name. Amen
