Taking hold of the Palace
The spider takes hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces (Prov. 30:28).
Several years ago, I was at a friend’s wedding. He was driven to the church in a new Toyota Corolla but something caught my attention in the car. I saw cobwebs somewhere at the back seat so I called his attention to it, apparently, the car has not been driven for a while. He smiled at me. The Spider is probably one of the most strategic creature, with the depth of network of the Web. It has a way of getting to places that one least imagined to establish its hold effortlessly. It is found in all the continents except the Antarctica.
It is a popular saying that your network is your net worth. There is wisdom in the way and manner the spider constructs its web and once is it is strong, it has established a strong hold there. It finds its way into the palace without restriction. Perhaps, one of the most strategic among the family of arachnids. The strategy required to have access to the palace without invitation deserves commendation and study. Building network arises from showing genuine love to people to win their friendship if not, it will amount to transactional relationship.
Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep (Rom.12:15).
The art of relationship building begins with empathy to other people’s course. Showing up for them brings along a reputation for likeness. Even when the people you serve are not there for you, God makes happen for you what you have helped others to achieve. Among the group of people in your life, there will always be a solution to issues when the need arises. God is faithful, he will not let you get stranded in destiny.
The wisdom to get into places with less efforts comes through appreciating people and walking in wisdom with them. Success may be found in your gifts but opportunities come through people. There are many who have problem seeing people as blessings rather, they fight or disdain others in their journey of life. That is not wisdom. Every person has a God given gift to be received with joy.
