Divine Helpers
So he said, “I am seeking my brothers. Please tell me where they are feeding their flocks.” And the man said, “They have departed from here, for I heard them say, “Let us go to Dothan.”‘ So Joseph went after his brothers and found them in Dothan( Gen.37.16 – 17)
Often, when we tell the stories of our successes, we don’t remember people placed on our way to the top. We just parried their roles aside to speak about what we have done well and other strides. The truth is that, we may not have amounted to anything without the little counsel, rebuke or corrections we got from the people on the way up.
Joseph met a man who changed the story of his life by simply giving him the geography of his siblings. Joseph never returned home from that trip but his journey to greatness was delivered in that conversation. Do you remember the few people who assisted you on your way to the top? I mean the seeming insignificant people. You will have them placed on your way, pay attention to them. They are keys to the future.
May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed (Psalm 20 1-2).
Above is a powerful prayer that every believer should pray. There are many things we will not have until someone helps us through. Sometimes they just speak on our behalf but their voice is needed to make things happen.
My counsel is this, continue to pay attention to everyone you meet on your way to the top. Treat them well, irrespectiveo of how they treat you. You will soon meet your angel who will release the information you need to you. Peace!
