Integrity of God’s Word

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away (Matt.24.35).

The integrity of God’s word stems from His personality. Every time the word of God is discussed, it evidently shows the premium of this word above even the name. A clear sign that a person’s word cannot be separated from the name but it validates it.

The creative force of God is revealed as His word. It is the tool by which transformation takes place as well as the means of communication for building relationships with his followers. God uses his words literally and representationally. It in an integral part of Him. An encounter with His word is a meeting with Him. Where the word is found, power is made available.

I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name (Ps.138.2).

God expects no less of us in relation to His word than He treats it. He magnified His word above his name. The believer needs a proper understanding of the efficacy of the word to reference the speaker. We are permitted to “taste and see” the Lord is good. We won’t achieve this unless we believe that the word can be trusted.

Forever oh Lord, your word is settled.
