Nothing Hidden

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you (John.15.15).

Unlike in the past, nothing is hidden any longer about God. The mystery of God has been revealed to the letter through Jesus Christ. He has made known everything about the Father that we have no reason to keep searching for any other secret about God. For some, they think God cannot be known but they are wrong. Jesus is the express image of the Father and he made Him known in nature and character.

Until Christ came, God was dreaded as a task master that demands for more than any man could meet but as Jesus began to relate with people, we see a different Father. He is compassionate. He is caring. He is love expressed. He is relational. God is good and He gives good things to His people. These details revealed a God that was once hidden.

Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works (John.14.10).

Jesus’ response to Thomas reveals that
everything about the Father is made known by the Son. All we need to do is to read the gospels, see the Christ life, words He spoke, His conducts and we have seen God. No more mystery hidden to be revealed. We have all we need to walk with the Father, to represent Him. Hallelujah!
