Taking Possession
By your patience possess your souls.!(Luke.21.19).
The believer is in a constant war with the system he operates in. Sometimes, it makes you hasty, at another time you’re sluggish hence it could result in a chaotic life. However, there is a better way to respond. You can take charge of your soul by being patient. There are many examples of people who through patience, enjoyed the benefits God had for them while on earth. Patience is a powerful virtue to deploy when relating with God.
While some people might consider patience a weakness, it carries the power to deliver you from self destruction and also birth great things for you. Even in receiving from God, it takes patience to have what had been promised to you. God is not slow concerning His promises. The admonition to the believers is to possess all that is his through patience not in a hurry.
The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him (Lam.3.25).
Waiting is another word for patience. Those who exercise this virtue will enjoy the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. God is good indeed to those who are patient with Him.
