Time
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven (Eccl.3.1).
Time is one of the concepts you must embrace and understand in walking with God. Any wrong approach or understanding of time could have grave implications on the life and chances of the believer to make significant progress. Time is the framework within which activities take place. It has the past, present and future in it as a recorder of memories.
All that will happen or has happened did within this concept. Therefore, it is important not just to know it but operates in understanding to maximize its use productively. One of the things to note is that time is always passing, whether it is used it not? Time is also an opportunity for investment. Time is a collector and multiplier hence, every passing time must be given something to keep in store. Time is also a revealer of truth.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end (Ecc. 3:11).
Though He lives outside of time in eternity, you will find that God works within time to achieve His purposes. He has also kept times and seasons in His hand as an exclusive factor for releasing His plans and purposes. However, we can learn to sow into every second, make good use of time, place value on obedience within acceptable time, and making the most of every time available. Time is the seed given for preparing for eternity.
God values time and so we must. Any disregard for the use of time is an attempt to waste not just the lifetime opportunities available but the life itself. Basically, life is spent or lost in time.
